Weekly events, and interchangeable lift passes with Big White Ski Resort. New for this year is the Alpine Meadows Quad Chair, opening up the beautiful runs and glade skiing found in the Attridge area. It only takes 5 minutes to get to the top of the mountain to take in the spectacular valley and lake views. The Alpine Meadows Chairlift will take you to hidden powder stashes that locals have known about for decades! Also new for this year is the much-anticipated Snowbird Lodge offering 54 suites uncompromising in luxury.

Directions to Silver Star

We're just 22 km (12 miles) northeast of Vernon, British Columbia. Drive up, or fly into Kelowna International Airport (YLW) and take a quick shuttle. From Big White Ski Resort you can experience Silver Star for the day using the inter-mountain day trip shuttle. Once you arrive, you won't need a car - Silver Star Village is pedestrian-only and everything you need is close by. We even offer an in-Resort shuttle service if your legs are too tired from skiing! Locals can take advantage of the Silver Star Ski Bus.

Driving

Silver Star Mountain Resort is located 22 km (12 miles) northeast of Vernon, at the top of the Okanagan Valley. Connect with Highway 97 to Vernon and follow 48th Avenue to Silver Star Road and follow for 22 km (12 miles). Silver Star Road leads you directly to the Resort where you can check into your hotel, condo or vacation home.

Flying

Kelowna International Airport (YLW) is serviced by Air Canada, Jazz, WestJet and Horizon Air (Alaska Airlines). These airlines are partnered with many of the international carriers and fly direct non-stop to Kelowna daily from Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Seattle. Airport hosts can be found in the arrivals lounge and are identifiable by their yellow vests. Daily frequent and efficient shuttle service is available between the Resort and Airport.

Shuttle & Limousine

Begin your ski adventure by taking a limousine to Silver Star Mountain Resort! Including round-trip, door to door luxury service, relax while the snow-laden mountains, valleys and trees tantalize you in anticipation for some of the best skiing in British Columbia. Let our limousine service pick you up at the Airport and take you to your destination.

Bus Service

The Silver Star Ski Bus will be servicing Salmon Arm and Vernon residents making stops in communities along the way. The Express Shuttle Service will operate Saturday & Sunday and School District #22 holidays throughout the season.
